Hello TBaker. BR stands for Blu-ray. In terms of format/profile, I think Tony is referring to the types of files you are going to be importing into PD9 and outputting to (.mpg2,.mpg4,.avi, mt2s, etc.).I would recommend that before you purchase PD9, you ensure that your computer can handle the program. The requirements link is below:Video editing is very resource-intensive, so having a computer capable of handling PD9 is essential; otherwise, you will be doomed to frustrating crashes or the program won't load at all.Hope this helps. Have a great day.Regards,-PhilWindows 10 Pro x64Dell XPS 8930Intel CoreT i7 (4.6 GHz)32 GB DDR4-2666 RAM1 TB PCIe -x4 SSDNVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060PD14 Ultimate x64, 4207CD4 Ultra and AD6 UltraBleeping Computer Malware Response Instructor. OK -Your 64-bit system is going to be put to best use with the Ultra version. Check out the tutorials:The RAM specifications?512MB (I think) is referring to video RAMThe other RAM specs apply to your system RAM.
DDR2 is just a type of memory stick, with slower transfer speed than DDR3.Run a diagnostic report on your PC, and you'll get all that information. Go to Start Run type dxdiag then click Run 64-bit DxDiag. Save all the information as a text file. If you need help interpreting it, just say.Cheers - TonyVisit. PowerDirector Tutorials, tips, free resources & more.PDtoots happily supports fellow PowerDirector users! TBaker: Yes, Ultra is the way to go. Having only 4 GB of RAM will make a difference.
If you can, I would add another 2GB minimum to your computer. If you get into complex HD editing, you might encounter some problems with only 4 GB of RAM. With SD footage, you should be alright.
More RAM is always better if you can add it, and it is pretty cheap.Hope this helps. RGZ: Welcome to the DZ forum. PD10 will definitely render much faster with a 64-bit operating system. PD9 Deluxe, and PD10 Deluxe, are both designed for 32-bit computers. PD10 Ultra, as Tony stated, will use your resources much more efficiently, but if you only have a 32-bit computer, then PD10 Ultra will install itself as a 32-bit app, so there is not much advantage unless you need to burn Blu-rays.Hope this helps.

For me will be good if it will be at least 25% faster. Because if it will be few minutes less than there is no point to pay another 40$. Hi, The correct forum for enquiries related to programs is the main CyberLink forum and not here.
